We have flexible full-time, part-time and PRN shifts available with a starting base rate of up to $36/hr (plus additional differentials of $1 for PMs, $2 for nights and up to $7 for weekends).Joining Marklund is about being part of something bigger. With three residential locations the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, the Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children and young adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on the autism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program at each site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside at Marklund and those who come in from the community.Through clinical excellence, caring practice and extraordinary teamwork, Marklund nurses boldly advance the practice of nursing every day. You will make a difference in the lives of our residents in the following ways:Administer medications, tube feedings and treatments as prescribed.Prepare quarterly health assessments and annual assessments.Inform the physician of changes in resident health status and implements physicians order to assure optimal health care.Complete daily charting for care provided.Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants and case manager regarding resident status.Please note that this job summary is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
