Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
support elementary students in grades 2 through 5. This contract
position is based in Joliet, IL, within an elementary school
setting, covering a leave assignment from ASAP through June 4,
2026. The role involves providing speech therapy services to a
caseload of 36 elementary students, helping them develop essential
communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized
speech and language therapy to students in grades 2-5 Assess, plan,
and implement therapy sessions tailored to student needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support
student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress
reports reflective of student outcomes Ensure compliance with state
and district regulations and standards Qualifications & Experience:
Illinois Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical
Competence (SLP-CCC) license is required Experience working in an
elementary school environment preferred Strong knowledge of speech
and language disorders in school-aged children Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
Ability to manage a caseload of 36 students and maintain organized
records Position Details: Schedule: 6.75 hours per day, 33.75 hours
per week Duration: Contract leave assignment ending June 4, 2026
