Be part of a team that manufactures sophisticated low-level and high-level case palletizers and multi-line case palletizing systems. Work on products primarily for the Food and Beverage and Chemical industries. Responsibilities Use machine drawings, machine assembly drawings, control schematics, and bills of materials to accurately build and problem-solve as needed. Engage in reducing or eliminating non-value-added work throughout the organization. Proficiently utilize hand tools for tasks such as structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly, ensuring quality workmanship. Complete quality assurance checks for Blue Books. Provide accurate documentation for labor reporting, material issues/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports. Execute inventory re-ordering policies, including 'Kanban'. Prepare equipment for shipment, including machine teardown. Why Work Here? Overtime is voluntary on Fridays or Saturdays and overtime communicated on Mondays. Work in a very clean and well-lit facility, in groups of 2-6 assemblers. Use Milwaukee tools and be prepared to work on platforms that are 20 feet high and 70 feet long Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sun Prairie, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
