As part of our skilled maintenance team, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for honesty and transparency. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, customer service skills, and a commitment to safety. You will work firsthand with a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring each car meets CarMax’s high standards. Inspect, maintain, and repair cars of various makes and models Diagnose issues using modern diagnostic equipment Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements Communicate effectively with team members and customers Stay current with new technologies in the automotive industry Ensure workspace and tools are kept clean and organized Adhere to company safety policies and regulations Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment Understanding of computer systems used in modern vehicles Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment Strong problem-solving skills Good communication skills Attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
