Rooming of clients prior to provider appointments. Organization and completion of medication prior authorizations. Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal, and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.The Triage Program and the Crisis Residential Unit are closely linked programs that are logically and efficiently offered under one roof. These programs are designed to provide an immediate response to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis.Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GED and one year of addiction treatment experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceCertified as a CMACardiopulmonary-resuscitation (CPR) and First-Aid training complete within three monthsExperience utilizing behavioral management techniquesAbility to lead discussion and educational presentationsValid Illinois driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance requirementsBelief in the mission and vision of RosecranceEssential Responsibilities:Adhere to prescribed work hours set by leadership and fulfill additional hours as necessary to complete assigned responsibilities.Record and respond to calls, check records for compliance and insurance prior to scheduling appointments and determine appropriate platform to be used.Schedule client follow-up sessions promptly after their psychiatric appointments, as deemed suitable and necessary.Coordinate psychiatric appointments for clients in collaboration with direct care staff.Ensure that all psychiatric appointments are fully booked to achieve a 100% appointment fill rate.Maintain accurate and up to date logs for clients with approved scheduling and ensure notification is in the chart to allow for accurate and timely scheduling of follow-up psychiatryMaintain accurate and up to date logs for clients for whom approval to Physician Services only has been deemedCoordinate continuity of care across facilities by proactively obtaining hospital discharge documentation or other pertinent collateral information from external sources ahead of clients scheduled psychiatry appointments.Offer clerical assistance to medical leadership, including the entry of note templates for psychiatric providers.Follow up on unposted or draft notes for psychiatric providers, addressing the matter as necessary, or informing the provider if required.Provide backup coverage for medical staff within the medical suite.Conduct client health history assessments, assist with vital sign assessments, and provide reports to psychiatric providers prior to appointments.Transcribe medicalProvide follow up communication to clients with ongoing medicalMonitor and document clients response to medication and report any notable response immediately.Document pertinent information daily in the electronic health record based on observations and involvement with the clients asAct as an advocate for all clients and report all physical/psychological concerns to the medical and clinicalContribute actively as an integral member of the clinical team, fostering collaboration and inclusivity by participating in all team meetings, discussions, and activities aimed at enhancing client care.Collaborate with medical records team to ensure chart compliance asUnderstand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code ofDeliver exceptional customer service consistently to everyServe as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representingAssume any additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.Schedule: 8hr Shifts (Sunday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm)Pay: Based on education, experience and credentials $18.93Shift differentials: Additional pay based on regularly scheduled shift hoursWork Location: Rosecrance Mulberry Center Rockford, IL.OnsiteBenefits: Rosecrance values its employees and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Salary based on education, experience, and credentialsMedical, dental, and vision insurance with multiple plan options to meet your needs401(k) plan with employer match and discretionary employer contributionGroup Life Insurance including LTD and AD&DTuition assistance and licensure/certification reimbursementPaid Time Off, sick time, bereavement leaveReferral program earning up to $1,000 per hire!Wellness plan with certain facilities offering an on-site gymDaily pay available through financial wellness provider: UKG WalletAbout Us:Rosecrance has been at the forefront of providing behavioral health services for over a century.
