License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in the care and
management of the target patient populations specific to the area
of employment. - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and
practice. - Required education includes a BSN or nursing diploma.
Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing,
planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an
identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This
individual demonstrates competency in delivering care to a
primarily adult population. Dayshift hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00
PM, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week. Every third
weekend and every other holiday is required. Telemetry competence
is also required. Upon hire, any non-BSN nurse with less than one
year of licensed registered nurse experience will be required to
enroll in a BSN or higher nursing degree program. Acceptance into a
program is expected within 15 months of hire. The degree program
must be completed within 5 years of enrollment, or 6 years if
pursuing an MSN, DNP, or PhD in Nursing. Current state Registered
Nurse License is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic
Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
certifications are required.
