Job Description Protouch Staffing is seeking a travel EEG Technologist for a travel job in Peoria, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: EEG Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Position Title: EEG Technologist Location: Peoria, IL Schedule: Nights Contract Length: 13-Week(Potential for extension) Key Responsibilities: - Perform EEGs, long?term EMU monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies, and IOM - Apply electrodes (10–20 system), run activation procedures (e.g., hyperventilation, photic), ensure data quality - Monitor and ensure patient safety throughout procedures - Calibrate/troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment - Document technical data and assist in billing compliance Qualifications: - HS diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred - ABRET/REEGT certification required (or must obtain within 2 years) - BLS certification - Minimum 2 years of neurodiagnostic tech experience (EEG/EMU); ICU/ED experience a plus - Knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, medical terminology About Protouch Staffing Protouch Staffing stands out as a premier healthcare staffing agency in the USA, committed to pairing healthcare workers with positions that perfectly match their qualifications, experiences, and career aspirations.
