Job Description Job Title: BE/BC Endocrinologist Location:
Dekalb, Illinois (One hour from Chicago) Healthcare United is
seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist to join an
established Endocrine and Diabetes team in Dekalb, Illinois. The
selected candidate will provide dedicated support to an existing
Medical Group while enjoying a busy community-based outpatient
practice with consult-only hospital coverage. What You Can Expect:
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside three endocrinologists and one
Advanced Practice Provider (APP). - On-Site Support: Certified
diabetic educators, clinical dieticians, and clinical pharmacists
available on-site. - State-of-the-Art Clinic: Newly renovated
facilities for optimal patient care. - Specialized Programs: Access
to ADA-recognized diabetes education program with RN and RD
educators at the Diabetes Self-Management Clinic. - Extended
Support: Collaborate with on-site endocrine surgery and oncologic
subspecialists from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine
and Public Health. - Academic Opportunities: Academic appointment
and teaching opportunities available through the University of
Illinois College of Medicine. Responsibilities: - Diagnose,
evaluate, and treat patients with hormonal imbalances, thyroid
conditions, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other endocrine disorders.
- Provide outpatient care with consult-only hospital coverage. -
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient
care. - Offer patient counseling on the management of endocrine
disorders. - Participate in educational programs and professional
development. Requirements - Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree. - Completion of Internal
Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship. - Board Eligible
or Board Certified in Endocrinology. - Illinois Medical License
(active or pending). - Strong work ethic and excellent
