Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Madison, WI Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,595 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PICU RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Job Opportunity – Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU RN – Wisconsin Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days (7:00am-7:30pm) and nights (7:00pm-7:30am). Typical rotation every 3 weeks between days and nights. Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required. Highlights: State-of-the-art 21-bed pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit with comprehensive medical and surgical capabilities Mixed CVPICU and PICU patient population including cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, ECMO, neuro/neurosurgery, and Level 1 trauma Epic charting system; 36 hours of orientation provided Magnet-designated facility affiliated with a university health system and medical school Work alongside nationally recognized pediatric specialists and a highly skilled multidisciplinary team Patient ratio 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity Requirements: Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or valid compact license from permanent address state (must be in hand at submittal) Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years; strong Pediatric ICU experience with at least 1 year of cardiovascular experience required High acuity hospital or strong Level II trauma center experience required; first-time travelers considered with 3 years of high acuity experience Epic experience required (within the past 12 months preferred) BLS and PALS certification through American Heart Association ONLY Basic arrhythmia experience; must pass telemetry exam prior to start (strict passing criteria with 80% minimum score and 100% identification of lethal rhythms) Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from facility location Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a nationally recognized children's hospital providing specialized care in a healing environment designed specifically for pediatric patients and their families.
