Registered Nurse to serve as Director of Nursing within a secured
correctional healthcare setting in DuPage County, Illinois. The DON
will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring compliance with
clinical, professional, and facility standards while providing

competency requirements. • Oversee documentation, medication
administration, and adherence to physician orders. • Develop and
maintain infection control and safety programs. • Ensure compliance
with NCCHC, ACA, and IDOC standards. • Lead nursing orientation,
education, and ongoing staff development. • Collaborate with the
Medical Director and facility leadership to address operational and
clinical issues. • Participate in audits, quality assurance, and
performance improvement initiatives. • Ensure adequate staffing
levels, scheduling, and delegation of responsibilities. • Promote
effective communication and collaboration across all care
disciplines. • Any other duties as assigned.
