Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Manager
Nursing for our Emergency Department, who will uphold our mission
of providing holistic, innovative care in a compassionate
environment. This position is crucial in leading our dynamic team
in the ER to ensure efficient, empathetic patient care that
reflects our faith-based values and commitment to transforming
healthcare. The RN Manager Nursing will oversee all aspects of
nursing operations within the department, from staff management to
compliance with health standards, embodying leadership that fosters
a supportive and proactive workplace. Manage daily operations in
the Emergency Department, ensuring quality patient care and
adherence to healthcare regulations and standards. Supervise and
mentor nursing staff, fostering a collaborative environment that
enhances professional growth and patient satisfaction. Develop and
implement nursing department plans and goals in alignment with
organizational objectives. Ensure compliance with healthcare
regulations, maintaining department readiness for inspections and
audits. Influence patient outcomes by practicing evidence-based
healthcare and promoting innovative care practices. Monitor
departmental budgets and manage resources to ensure fiscal
responsibility. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
to enhance service delivery and patient care. Proven leadership and
management skills in a healthcare setting Strong communication and
interpersonal skills Expertise in emergency nursing practices and
protocols Capability to work under pressure in fast-paced
environments Proficient in healthcare software and electronic

Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred Basic Life Support (BLS),
