Job Description:
Genesis Health Group is seeking a full-time board
certified/eligible Pathologist trained in both Anatomic and
Clinical Pathology. Position Details: The candidate would join a
collegial group of 6 general, hospital-based Pathologists and 2
Pathology Assistants who oversee two community hospitals and
several critical access hospitals. The caseload is a mixture of
biopsies, complex resections and non-GYN cytology. No GYN cytology
is performed. Frozen section coverage and attendance of fine needle
aspirations for adequacy assessment is required. Autopsies are
rarely performed. No specific subspecialty training is required,
however cytopathology or GI training would be looked upon
favorably. Requirements: Must be BC/BE The ideal candidate will
have good communication and interpersonal skills and value good
relationships with our clinical colleagues. A willingness to
participate in clinical lab management and multidisciplinary tumor
