to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Harvey, Illinois, 60426! Job

Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have a valid
state RN license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS required
Must-Have: Competent in rhythm strip interpretation Preferred
competence in initiating and maintaining cardiac drips such as
dobutamine, amiodarone, and cardizem Description: The position is
for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical specialty. The nurse
will work a day shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts. The
patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:6, with potential increases
during peak times. Weekend coverage will be required every other
weekend. Floating to other units may be necessary. The nurse will
care for adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses
including myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, stroke, and congestive
heart failure. The unit supports interdisciplinary care, including
physical therapy and respiratory services. The nurse will be
responsible for monitoring patients and managing dysrhythmias. The
expected daily census for the unit is 40 patients, with 46 beds
available. Computer charting will be conducted using a designated
system. A successful candidate will have previous charge experience
and a solid understanding of telemetry. This role offers an
