Registered Nurse (RN) to provide essential nursing support in an
elementary school setting. This role is focused on assisting a
medically fragile student and is ideal for a compassionate
professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a school
environment. Location: - Aurora, IL Position Details: - Part-time,
approximately 10 hours per week - Contract position for the current
school year (CSY) - Supporting one medically fragile student with
specialized care needs Key Responsibilities: - Deliver nursing care
tailored to the medical needs of the assigned student, ensuring
safety and comfort - Collaborate with school staff, parents, and
healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and respond to health
emergencies - Monitor and document the students health status
throughout the school day - Administer medications and treatments
as prescribed and authorized - Maintain confidentiality and adhere
to all relevant health and safety policies Qualifications: -
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with school nursing experience
preferred - Strong understanding of medical conditions affecting
pediatric patients - Ability to manage sensitive health information
with professionalism - Effective communication skills for
interacting with students, families, and staff - Demonstrated
patience and compassion in supporting children with complex health
