Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position
offers the opportunity to provide Occupational Therapy services in
a school setting, supporting the development and success of
students. The role involves traveling to various educational
locations within the Peoria, IL area to deliver tailored therapy
interventions that enhance students functional abilities and
participation in school activities. Key Responsibilities: Assess
and evaluate students occupational therapy needs within the school
environment. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
that address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily
living activities. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other
professionals to support student progress. Document therapy
sessions, progress notes, and maintain accurate records in
compliance with established guidelines. Adapt interventions based
on student progress and changing needs. Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in
school-based therapy. Strong understanding of pediatric therapeutic
techniques and educational environments. Ability to effectively
travel to multiple school locations in Peoria and surrounding
areas. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for
collaboration with school staff and families. Reliable
transportation and flexibility to manage a travel schedule.
Location: Peoria, IL travel required within local school settings.
