Job Description Description Exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to join a busy, well-established inpatient team providing comprehensive women’s health services. This full-time, hospital-based role offers 24-hour in-house coverage in a high-volume labor & delivery setting, working alongside midwives, anesthesia, NICU, and a multidisciplinary care team. Job Responsibilities - Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for Labor & Delivery - Manage OB/GYN triage and respond to ER calls as needed - Support approximately 80 deliveries per month in a high-volume setting - Perform daily rounds on post-partum and post-operative patients - Serve as a regional referral resource for gynecologic patients - Collaborate closely with midwives and community health partners - Work within a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia and NICU - Participate in hospital protocol development and quality initiatives ? Qualifications - Board Certified in OB/GYN (Required) - Eligible for or active Iowa medical license - Clean malpractice history preferred - Strong teamwork and communication skills - Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care Working Hours - 24-Hour In-House Shifts - Full-time dedicated hospitalist role - ER call integrated into shift coverage (no separate call schedule) Skills - Labor & Delivery management - Surgical gynecology procedures - Obstetric emergency response - Post-partum and post-operative care - Collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork - High-volume patient management
