About the Position Radiation Oncologist - Flexible Ongoing
Assignment Secure a rewarding Radiation Oncology assignment in
Illinois where you can balance clinical excellence with a flexible,
manageable schedule. This ongoing need offers a streamlined path to
start. Highlights Flexible schedule with only 5-10 shifts needed
per month. Travel and lodging accommodations provided for all
shifts. Malpractice insurance included for the duration of the
assignment. Practice Setting Mix of inpatient and outpatient
clinical environments. Collaborative team including 2 RNs, 5
therapists, and physics support. Focus on adult patient
populations. Average daily census of 35-50 patients currently on
treatment. Schedule Short-term or ongoing coverage options still
available. Standard daytime hours with some remote weeknight call.
Block scheduling or rotating shifts based on your availability. No
long-term commitment required to begin providing coverage.
Procedures and Cases Clinical oversight for 3D Treatment and IMRT.
SBRT and SRS treatment management. Performance of simulations,
consults, and OTVs. Coordination of some inpatient consultations.
Requirements Board Certified or Eligible within 5 years in
Radiation Oncology. Active Illinois medical license required.
Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience. Current DEA
certification. Credentialing Requirements Expedited processing
timeframe of 60-90 days. Comprehensive credentialing support
provided by our internal team. Role is open to IMLC Physicians for
