Job Description:
Overview To coordinate the day-to-day workflow of the Admit
Discharge Unit/Advance Care Unit to meet patient care needs and
increase the throughput in the region. The RN Supervisor will
function as a member of the assigned department leadership team.
Qualifications Certifications: National Nursing Certification

Experience: Critical care nursing; Acute nursing Responsibilities -
Effectively delivers discipline per Nursing Managers discretion. -
Serves as a resource to others in using patient outcomes or core
measure indicators to organize their plan of care and care delivery
methods. - Monitors current patient care practices and is alert to
areas of improvement. - Assists Nursing Manager in meeting employee
satisfaction goals. - Participates in developing, implementing, and
evaluating action plans. - Develops a schedule that meets staffing
needs. - Identifies circumstances requiring redistribution of care
team resources to better meet the needs of the patients during a
given shift. - Assists with staffing decisions, keeping costs and
resource utilization in mind. - Assists the Nursing Manager in the
annual performance review process for the department. - Mentors
developing staff. - Assists the Nursing Manager with payroll as
assigned. - Assists with communicating unit information and
clarifies issues as needed. - Assists the Nursing Manager in
retention efforts for the department. - Assists the Nursing Manager
in recruitment efforts-including but not limited to attending

The compensation range for this position is $44.95per hour -
$77.31per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum
range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The
actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a
variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s
experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts
