Job Description Job description: Milwaukee Orthopaedic Group,
Ltd. is a growing, busy orthopedic practice providing high quality
medical care to the eastern Wisconsin region. Be a part of the
team: Assists in orthopaedic surgeries including pre and
post-operative encounters. Evaluates patients in the office,
performs an appropriate physical exam and presents pertinent
patient information to the physician. Completes all appropriate
documentation for patient record according to guidelines and
standard of care. Triages patient calls and evaluates patient
problems. Qualifications/Education: Physician Assistant license
issued by the state of Wisconsin. Physician Assistant (PA-C)
certification issued by the National Commission on Certification of
Physician Assistants (NCCPA), Bachelor's Degree in Physician
Assistant. Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the
state of Wisconsin, Master's Degree in Nursing. Nurse Practitioner
(ANCC) certification issued by the American Nurses Credentialing
Center (ANCC), or Nurse Practitioner (AANP) certification issued by
the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) Preferred experience in
Orthopedics Demonstrated high level of attention to detail and
clinical competency Acts both independently and as a member of a
team Exceptional verbal and written skills Mental/Physical
Requirements: Involves standing, sitting, walking, bending,
stooping, lifting, and twisting. May be required to help to
transfer patient. High level of responsibility and heavy workload
can generate stress. Competitive salary and benefit package
