The Senior Staff Engineer will travel to various PCA locations to support projects across the organization, both in manufacturing plants and paper mills. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience, 5+ years in industrial paper and/or corrugating, or design engineering environment. This is a hands-on position, working side-by-side with the leaders, craft, and personnel to drive the projects to completion. General Requirements:

• 
  
• Bachelor of Science: Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  
• 10+ years as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, or Electrical Field Tech Support
  
  • 
    
  • Paper Mill or Box Plant Experience is a plus
    
  • Converting Machine Installation Experience is a plus

          • Rebuild Projects Supporting all Aspects of Electrical Installation
            
          • Lead Bid Walks and Reviews
            
            
          • Manage Contractors
            
            
          • Specification and Installation of Power Distribution Equipment - 480V Switchboards/Panels
            
          • AC/DC Motors and Drives- Troubleshooting, Maintenance Start-up
            
          • 480V Motor Control Center Specification and Installation
            
          • Variable Frequency Drives: Siemens, Rockwell PowerFlex Drives
            
          • General Knowledge of PLC's and Controls Troubleshooting
            
            • 
              
            • ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, PLC5 families; Siemens PLC
              
            • PLC Controls Design - Hardware and Software
              
            • Operator Interface: Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View, PanelView
              
            • General knowledge of IT Systems and Network Infrastructure
              
              
            • Good Working Knowledge of the NEC and NPFA-70E
              
              
              
              • 
                
              • Live anywhere in Continental US within a reasonable commute to a Commercial Airport
