The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties - Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. - Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while ensuring proper cash handling procedures. - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries. - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience. - Restock items as needed, clean tables, and keep the restaurant well-organized. - Provide product recommendations to promote sales and engage customers. - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. - Uphold company policies and procedures regarding sales and customer interactions. Experience - Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required. - Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is advantageous. - Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products when appropriate. - Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail. - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
