Job Description:
Job Description Job Description The Facility Manager is
responsible for ensuring the recurring maintenance and
implementation of replacement projects at properties under our
management. The role includes negotiation and awarding of service
contracts, drafting requests for proposals, soliciting bids,
negotiating and awarding contracts and performing oversight at the
job site. The Facility Manager reports to the President. Roles &
Responsibilities: · Award service contracts for: o Cleaning of
common areas o Trash collection o Landscaping maintenance o Snow
removal o Pest control o HVAC preventative maintenance o For the
above: draft contracts, solicit bids, award contracts and oversee
the work · Oversee periodic maintenance at properties such as: o
Parking lot maintenance (crack fill, seal coat, pot holes) o Gutter
cleaning o Fire safety and inspections o Intercom maintenance o
Upkeep and repair of laundry machines o Entry doors · Plan and
implement replacement projects o Roofing o Parking lots / driveways
o Siding o Boilers, water heaters, furnaces, condensers o For the
above: draft requests for proposals (RFP), solicit bids, award
contracts, oversee execution and completion · Continual Improvement
o Make recommendations and assist in developing best practices o
Collaborate as a key team-player with staff to improve brand
Requirements & Qualifications: · College graduate preferred · Very
good knowledge and experience in building construction and building
maintenance · Good negotiation skills · Good writing skills and
experience with WORD and EXCEL · Ability to learn and work well
with ERP software · Excellent interpersonal skills, professional
demeanor · Team player with drive for high customer satisfaction,
high integrity and commitment to company brand and vision · Full
